Refund Policy

1. General Terms

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through the Sumaeoa website (www.sumaeo.in). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. This Policy is governed by the applicable laws of India.

2. Order Cancellation

2.1 Before Shipment: Customers may cancel their order before it has been shipped by contacting our customer service team at info@sumaeoa.in. A full refund will be issued to the original payment method within 2-3 business days of confirmation of cancellation.

2.2 After Shipment: Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped. However, customers may initiate a return request under our Return and Exchange Policy. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable. 

Return and Exchange Policy

3.1 Eligibility
  • Items must be returned in a saleable, unworn, and undamaged condition in their original packaging within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Items returned outside of this timeframe will be refused.
  • Customers are responsible for the return shipping fee as we do not offer a free return label.
  • Delivery costs cannot be refunded.
  • Return requests are applicable only if the product arrives damaged. Customers must provide an unboxing video within 24 hours of receiving the order to validate the claim.
  • Single-product images of a damaged item will not be considered valid for processing return/exchange claims.
3.2 Non-Returnable Items
  • For hygiene reasons, earrings and any other jewelry that pierces the skin cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or damaged during transit.
  • Personalized and customized products are non-returnable, non-refundable, and cannot be canceled.
3.3 Return Process

To initiate a return: Email info@sumaeoa.in with your order number, reason for return, and an unboxing video with the shipping label intact (for in-transit damage claims). Upon approval, we will provide a return shipping label or further instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or defective. A return pickup request will be raised by us. However, if reverse shipping is unavailable, the customer must return the product in its original packaging to our address.

4. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
  • It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
  • If you have not received your refund after 15 business days from approval, please contact us at info@sumaeoa.in.

5. Faulty Goods

  • All products undergo quality checks before packaging.
  • If your item is faulty or has been damaged in transit, please contact info@sumaeoa.in within 24 hours of receiving the item.
  • Attach an image of the faulty item in your email to expedite the process.
  • After 24 hours of delivery, claims cannot be accepted, and the product will be considered as “misuse by the buyer.”

6. Undelivered Parcels

A parcel may be returned to us if: The customer is not at home. The courier cannot find a safe place to leave the parcel. When a parcel is returned to us, we will issue a refund for the items. Delivery charges are non-refundable. If you still wish to receive the items, you must place a new order.
